Two-time and defending BBXC Champ Nathan Ferderer kicked of the 2020 season with a big win Sunday at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota. Nate debuted the red #1 plate and backed it up overcoming a first lap crash which left his bike stuck between trees, to charge past early leader Logan Kittock.
“It took a couple laps for the me to remember how to ride a 250, said Ferderer. I’ve been on the 125 so much lately but once I settled in and the lines from the C and B races started forming more into flowing A class corners, I was able to step it up. I’ve gotten a lot better at riding the edges and as the course started to get rougher I think that was a big advantage.”
Kittock turned in a strong performance to finish second on a borrowed bike after DNF’ing on his Husky 125 at the OMA on Saturday. Nick Swenson put his Red Moto Honda on the box in third, with Devon Jirik and Adam Barlow rounding out the top 5.
20 AA riders lined up for the $1,500 payday.
