The 2021 Hoosier Tire Border Battle XC season will begin and end at the unofficial home of the series, ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota. The season opening Frost Buster will be a two-day event with small bikes and C classes on Saturday and the B and A/AA classes having their own two-hour events on Sunday.
The season finale Fall Rut will be a one day event on Sunday and feature a complete twist on the course that was utilized at round one.
Two additional rounds from the 2020 tour will return with CMJ Raceway hosting a one day event on Sunday May 23. Last year the Badger Brawl was one of the most popular courses on the tour traversing the massive hills that line I-94 in West Central Wisconsin.
On July 10, the series will be taking part in a true, best of the Midwest showdown when we team with the OMA National series in Dayton, Iowa. This race will run according to the OMA hare scrambles format but will pay DOUBLE POINTS to all BBXC classes.
Round 3 will be a Saturday only event so please plan accordingly.
The penultimate round of the series will see a return visit to Trax North in Crosby, Minnesota. The 2021 version of the Loose Goose will be a two-day format and see at least 30% different tail from last summer and a widening of much of the remaining trail.
Stay tuned for more information as we begin to schedule race times and special event to be held in conjunction with each round.
