Near the end of the C race on Sunday a competitor knocked down the scoring tower damaging the RFID reader. We were able to hand key the remainder of the race, however, after repairing the reader for the A/B race, it began malfunctioning shortly into the first lap.
The scoring team was able to hand score laps 1 and 2 before getting the system back online for the final laps. The following results for the A/B show correct race times and lap times for laps 3, 4 and 5. Laps 1 is a combined total of laps 1 and 2 as we were not able to collect lap time data with the exception of Nick Swenson and Troy Horbaty. We have worked several hours today to insure the final times and positions are correct.
Riders in the A/B race will have until 5pm Tuesday to contact us with any concerns. Binding results will be reposted tomorrow night and series points will be updated at that time.
Thank you for your patience in allowing us to get this correct. All awards for the A/B race and the two protested C classes will be available at the Staples Hare Scrambles on September 22.
