Lodging Details For Rd #3 Whitecap Mt.

Round 3 on July 27, in Upson, Wisconsin will be a dual-sanctioned event with District 16. Because of the large expected turnout for this awesome new ski hill course there will be some unique challenges to parking and camping.

Per the map shown below there will be multiple options for lodging, camping and parking at this event, including general pit camping, reserved camping with electric and hotel lodging at the resort. Given that this event will be 4+ hours of travel for the bulk of BBXC participants, we would like to encourage racers and families to limit their footprint at the event by leaving large campers at home and staying onsite at Whitecap Mt. Resort.

For those who attended our ski hill race in 2022, you know what a beautiful vacation area this is and with that in mind, the resort is offering a 3rd night free stay package outlined below.

Pit parking will be strictly enforced at this event to accommodate slide-out and side door use only. Canopy and bike setup needs to be at rear of vehicle/trailer only to maximize parking space. There will also be race day pit/canopy space in the bowl near the starting line.

ABSOLUTELY NO vehicles will be allowed outside of the parking/camping areas except for bicycles and e-bicycles. This means no golf carts, side x sides or e-motorcycles.

$20/weekend camping fee.

Paved Parking
Race day only, no campers.

Weber Lake Campground – SOLD OUT
Riders and their families can pit directly out these 11 sites as they are walking distance from signup and the starting line.

Reservations are first-come, first-served. Please indicate your preferred camp site in the checkout notes.

Whitecap Mt. Resort
The resort lodge overlooks the starting line and there will be space on the backside of the lodge for those staying onsite to pit. The lodge bar and grill, as well as many of the rooms, have been recently renovated and there is an indoor swimming pool located in the main building.

Single night rooms are available, however, the resort is offering a third night free package for those wishing to make a summer vacation out of this trip to the nearby shores of Lake Superior. You can view all lodge amenities HERE but you MUST CALL 715-561-2227 to get BBXC pricing.
