Border Battle XC was formed with one goal in mind: to put Midwest off-road racing on the map. What began as a grassroots effort to bring more awareness to cross-country racing in the region has grown into one of the most anticipated race series in the area, drawing competitors and fans from across state lines each season.
The series recently entered a new chapter under the ownership of Chad West and his family, longtime BBXC community members whose roots in the sport run deep. For Chad, taking over the series wasn't a business decision; it was a natural next step for someone who has lived and breathed off-road racing for years. That same passion drives everything from course design to race day operations.
